Dive into the breathtaking depths of Little Bay, St. Maarten, and experience The Spirit of SXM Sculpture Park, an extraordinary underwater gallery set to dazzle visitors. The project, developed by UK-based company Deep Blue Sea with a $1.2 million investment, will feature 300 sculptures for snorkeling adventures. It caters to tourists and locals, highlighting the island’s history and culture while creating an artificial reef for marine life. The installation has garnered local interest and support, and access will primarily be by boat.
Currently, Aqua Mania Adventures is enlisted to shuttle visitors to and from the attraction and out Island Charters for cruise ship visitors. Negotiations are in progress with additional tour operators and boat charter services to complete the arrangements. Deep Blue Sea chose St. Maarten due to its natural beauty and welcoming attitude. The awe-inspiring underwater museum promises to open its gates on December 15.
