Enchanted Princess Cruise at Sea

Today in Cruise port St. Maarten: Enchanted Princess

St. Maarten Cruise Ship Highlight: Enchanted Princess (Princess Cruises)

From todays Philipsburg St. Maarten cruise ship schedule we chose to highlight the arrival of the Princess Cruises Enchanted Princess to have visitors informed about the cruise ships they see from the Great Bay Beach and Fort Amsterdam areas. Let us guide you through some interesting facts for spectators.

1. The Tune of Cruise Holidays

Many know Princess Cruises from the famed “Love Boat” series of the 1980s. Even though Princess has since become part of the Carnival Corporation, the brand continues until this day with its own fleet headquartered in Santa Clarita, California. Also, the well known tune of the Princess Cruises centered tv series can be heard over Philipsburg and Great Bay beach when the Enchanted Princess or its sister ships leave cruise port St. Maarten after a great day of island shore excursions.

2. A Sizeable Princess

The Enchanted Princess is tied with the Sky Princess as third largest ship of the Princess Cruises fleet with 144650 gross tonnage and a length of 330 meters, harboring 3660 guests in 1830 cabins. Amongst the 18 cruise ships of Princess Cruise Lines, only the Discovery has a bit more gross tonnage (145000) and the 2024 Sun Princess ranks highest in size with 177000 gross tonnage and 4300 passengers (With Star Princess on the horizon to break this record). The ship offers additional cabins for 1346 crew members.

3. A Floating Foodie Paradise

The Enchanted Princess left the Italian dockyards of Fincantieri, Monfalcone in 2021 for its maiden voyage, and took the passion for food from its home country. Amongst its restaurants are one devised by famed chef Curtis Stone and also include home made pizza serving Alfredo’s Pizzeria, barbecue inspired Trident Grill, Sabatini’s for Italian food, Crown Grill and sea food centered Crab shack and Ocean Terrace.

Special features to look out for when this ship is in the Philipsburg St. Maarten Cruise Port today: If you want to have a great view of the Enchanted Princess departing, go to Fort Amsterdam at 6pm where it will make a turn and leave. All of this of course accompanied by its horn sounding the “Love Boat” theme loud and clearly throughout Great Bay!
