Winair Expands Caribbean Network with New Routes to Barbados, St. Lucia, and St. Vincent
Windward Islands Airways (Winair), the carrier based at Princess Juliana International Airport in Sint Maarten, is expanding its Caribbean routes starting November 15, 2024.
The airline will launch new flights to Barbados, St. Lucia, and St. Vincent using ATR 42-500 aircraft. Barbados will see six weekly flights, St. Lucia will have six weekly flights, and St. Vincent will have one weekly flight initially, increasing to twice weekly in February 2025. Winair’s new routes aim to boost connectivity and support regional tourism.
The airline is also increasing flights from Barbados to Dominica, St. Lucia, and Martinique, enhancing regional travel options. This expansion follows a strategic market analysis and aligns with efforts to strengthen Caribbean travel links.
