Vidanta comes to St Maarten and launches a new luxury adults-only cruise line
Vidanta is launching a new luxury cruise line, after acquiring and refurbishing the former Voyager in 2017, renaming it the Vidanta Elegant. The 298-guest ship, redesigned as a mega yacht, offers spacious accommodations, a nearly one-to-one crew-to-guest ratio, and 13 bars and restaurants. The ship features luxury amenities and state-of-the-art technology but charges extra for à la carte meals, room service, and certain beverages.
Set to begin in February 2025, Vidanta Elegant will offer adults-only cruises in the Caribbean and Mediterranean under the VidantaWorld brand. Its itineraries include stops at exclusive, hard-to-reach destinations, with the ship moving from the Caribbean to Europe for summer cruises. Itineraries are set to visit destinations on the Spanish and Italian coasts, as well as the French Riviera, the Greek Islands and the Adriatic Sea. The inaugural program also includes two trans-Atlantic crossings that sail between St. Maarten and the Canary Islands region.
