From the direction of Cupecoy, drive through the St Maarten Golf Course into Maho Village. When reaching the roundabout at Maho Beach, take the roundabout to the left to Princess Juliana International Airport.
Follow the airport runway and pass the airport terminal until you reach the roundabout with statues of Brown Pelicans. Go right and follow the Simpson Bay main road along the Simpson Bay Lagoon.
Follow this main road, cross the Simpson Bay Bridge until you see the white highrise of Atrium hotel on your right. Turn right and continue up the slope with Simpson Bay Resort on your right.
From the direction of Oyster Pond, follow the road commencing in the Dutch side corner of Oyster bay leading to Philipsburg. Continue on this road for ten to fifteen minutes until you reach the roundabout with the Freedom Fighter monument. On the roundabout, go right on Pondfill or WJ Nisbeth Road.
Go straight on this road along Philipsburg and the Great Salt Pond until you reach St Maarten’s only traffic lights. Continue until you reach a roundabout with the statue of a mother and a child. Go left and continue uphill until you reach another roundabout. Turn right here, with amazing seaviews and the Harold Jack viewpoint on your left. Downhill, at the Kruijthoff Roundabout, turn left and follow the traffic when the main road bends to the right. At the first main junction (with Burger King on the left), take the road to the left before Burger King into Pelican. On your right hand side is Simpson Bay Resort and Marina
When departing from Orient Bay, drive along Grand Case L’ Esperance Airport (SFG) to Grand Case on the main road.
From Grand Case, follow directions of Marigot and cross the border at Bellevue / Concordia Monument. Turn right on the Causeway Bridge. On the roundabout with the brown pelican statues, go left. Continue along the Simpson Bay Lagoon, over Simpson Bay bridge until you reach the large white Atrium hotel building on your right. Go right. The next building to Atrium hotel is Simpson Bay Resort and Marina.
Hilton Vacation Club Flamingo Beach Resort has ample space for free private parking, inside the resort gates.
Buses do not reach the Pelican / Billy Folly Area where Flamingo Beach Resort is located. However, the Maho / Cupecoy to Philipsburg bus line is a 5 minute walk from the resort. The stop is in front (and opposite) the aforementioned location of Burger King St. Maarten. Buses depart frequently towards both Maho / Cupecoy and Philipsburg.
