THE SIGNATURE FRENCH WEST INDIES COCKTAIL

 

Ti’punch short for ‘petit punch’, an easy to prepare drink is a crucial part of the French West Indies. The cocktail, made from the purest form of pressed sugar cane juice (white rum), combined with some quarter lime and brown sugar.

Often paired with codfish fritters better known  as Accras is the key to fully immersing ones’ self in the French Caribbean.

 

 

Ingredients:

1/4 lime

1 teaspoon sugar

Rhum Blanc agricole; amount varies per person, glass is usually to the top of lime in the glass.
