ANTIGUA OBSERVER: THE CARIBBEAN SAILING ASSOCIATION LAUNCHES WHATSAPP GROUP TO FOSTER COLLABORATION
The opportunity has arrived for the Caribbean Dinghy Sailing community to unite!
The CSA, the Caribbean Sailing Association, is thrilled to announce an initiative to unite several Caribbean Dinghy Sailing programs, through a dedicated WhatsApp groups chat. The goal of the WhatsApp group is to exchange insides, enhance mutual communication and collaboration within the Caribbean Dinghy Sailing community. The forum can also be used to address competitions and share valuable knowledge and experiences between the various Dinghy Sailing programs, across the Caribbean.
Saskia Revelman, manager of the St Maarten Yacht Club and CSA board member also elaborates on the importance of the knowledge exchange: “By learning from each other, we can collectively overcome obstacles and elevate our programs to new heights.”
The platform aims to improve the quality of dinghy racing instruction, elevate the level of sailing expertise and teamwork, strengthen the sense of community in the Caribbean sailing scene, and facilitate the growth of aspiring dinghy sailors through the sharing of resources and best practices.
