Around 400 People visit the “Picton” Castle Ship in Marigot

The Caribbean Sail Training (CST) hosted an open day for the “Picton Castle” at the Galisbay commercial pier in Marigot, attracting approximately 400 visitors. Captain Moreland, who announced his retirement, highlighted the value of sail training for developing life skills, leadership, and vocational opportunities for young people in the Caribbean. A reception followed, with Captain Moreland presenting a painting to CST President Jan Roosens and a signed print to Port Director Albéric Ellis, acknowledging the port’s ongoing support.
