Lovers Beach – a Hidden Treasure
The most hidden of all beaches on St. Maarten, on the north part of the island. It is its isolated geography that provided its romantic name. When at the beach, you see Anguilla only 7 kilometers away. It takes some hiking to arrive, but it is worth it!
Where to find Lovers Beach on St Martin
Lovers Beach is a hidden gem just south of Friar’s Bay. To get there, you head in the direction of Friar’s Bay, but when you reach the bridge, you turn left instead of right. At the end of that road, you will find a spot to park and a rusty gate, at which your walk starts. Here you will see two different paths, and either one will take you down to the beach.
