FAXINFO: GET READY FOR THE 6TH EDITION OF FACES OF SAINT MARTIN / SINT MAARTEN!
The famous Community photography contest in Saint-Martin, inspired by French artist JR’s “Inside Out” project, focuses on family photos this year. Organized by the Department of Cultural Action, it’s open to photographers amateur or professional, over 18, living in Saint-Martin/Sint-Maarten. Apply by October 17, 2023, and submit your application to the Purchasing and Public Markets Department at 10 rue Félix Eboué in Marigot. The selection committee will choose candidates based on 10 photographs, and the selected works will be displayed in various strategic locations in Marigot and the region. The exhibition, printed in black and white on large paper, will change over time as posters peel and dissolve, aligning with the street art concept. The theme encourages artists to capture everyday family life in Saint-Martin, with prizes for the top three candidates.
