Welcome one, welcome all!
Come and celebrate International Museum Day with the Sint Maarten National Heritage Foundation & Museum and some of our Heritage & Cultural Friends at the Museum located in the Speetjens alley (Coffee Lounge Cafe) tomorrow, Wednesday the 18th, from 11 am to 4 pm.
This open house is a great opportunity to start to get to know the Museum and some of our awesome and friendly associates as we embark on the journey to enhance awareness of our History, Heritage, Culture and more here on St. Maarten with the international theme for this year; “The Power of Museums” and the objective to “Raise awareness of the fact that Museums are an import means of cultural exchange, enrichment of cultures and development of mutual understanding, cooperation and peace among peoples”. So take a lovely walk and swing by, even if it just during your lunch break.
