Located in the St Maarten capital Philipsburg you will find Front Street. The street provides a variety of shopping opportunities, from clothing to jewelry stores. Front street is the place to find your perfect gift, as it has a great amount of jewelry stores to offer. When your done shopping, you can relax at the Great Bay Beach just located behind the street.

Fort Louis

 

Located on the French side, lies Fort Louis. It is one of the most famous monuments of the entire island. The purpose of the fort was to defend from British and Dutch pirates. Nowadays, it has been abandoned and used as a famous touristic attraction. When at the fort, you can experience a beautiful 360 view of the Marigot area.
