LOOP CARIBBEAN NEWS: REGGAE STAR KOFFEE GIFTED WITH LOCAL PRODUCT FROM SINT MAARTEN
A LOCAL PRESENT FOR ARTIST KOFFEE
From March second until March fifth, the St Maarten Heineken Regatta was held on the island, with parties and events across the whole island during the weekend. The biggest event, was the closing party on Sunday at the Heineken Regatta Village at Port de Plaisance, featuring Grammy-award winning Reggae star Koffee. It was the first time for the young star to make her appearance on the island of St Maarten.
To support the local businesses of St Maarten, Minister of Tourism, Economic Affairs, Transport and Telecommunication Arthur H. L. Lambriex gifted Koffee a gift bag from Nectar. Nectar is an eco-friendly beauty products company that make their products locally. The Minister also stated that he is looking forward to seeing the Heineken Regatta grow and the increasing involvement of local enterprises.
