PJIAE Growing Passenger Traffic & Counting Down to the Opening Celebration
Passenger traffic outdid the expectations for 2023 with in total 1.4 million passengers arriving in St. Maarten at Princess Juliana International airport (sxm). These numbers are nearing the numbers form before the pandemic, showing a strong return in travel to the island. The full report of 2023 will be available soon on www.sxmairport.com. In 2024 the new terminal will open, and this will be celebrated together with the 80th birthday of the airport. This celebration will take place in November this year with all the stakeholders present.
