THE DAILY HERALD: ST. MAARTEN MUSEUM TO HOST SCAVENGER HUNT
MUSEUM TOUR ST MAARTEN
On the 18th of May, the St Maarten National Heritage Foundation and Museum celebrated the annual International Museum Day. This year, the theme was “Museums, Sustainability and Wellbeing”. On May 27, a scavenger hunt is organized by the foundation and will take participants to several museums at the island.
The Museums included in the scavenger hunt are Yoda Guy Movie Exhibit, the St. Maarten National Heritage Foundation and Museum, Parotte Ville Heritage Museum, Amuseum Naturalis, Emilio Wilson Museum and the Pasture Piece SXM. The goal of the event is to bring together the community and promote the museums on the island.
For participating in the event, you have to sign up with a team of maximum 5 people. The participants then have to visit multiple locations where some assignments had to be completed. The hunt starts at 9 a.m. in Philipsburg.
