Diving Experience on St Maarten / St Martin 

 

St. Maarten is a great dive and snorkeling destination. The outlying wreck and reef sites offer fantastic experiences and excellent photo opportunities. During this trip we are usually going to the site located in the lagoon of the Divi Little Bay Resort. You can explore with scuba or snorkel the wrecks hidden between the rocks, and see the tropical fishes that are hanging around. It is a shallow site with sloping bottom with maximum depth approximately 40 ft (12m).

 

It is a great opportunity for divers who did not dive in a while or prefer calm conditions. If you are a more experienced diver, we can recommend to join our double tank dive. If you will be still interested to do your single tank dive on one of our open sea dive sites, please contact management of the dive center and we would be happy to try to accommodate your needs. Dive Adventures was established in 1990 as part of the large water sports and boat activity center that makes up Aqua Mania Adventures, at Simpson Bay Resort.

Scuba Single Tank Dive

 

Explore Little Bay reef on our shallow single tank dive, departing daily at 2pm. Our shallow single tank dive in the afternoon, is especially for certified divers who haven’t dived in a while or novice divers who would like to gain confidence in shallower waters. The dive is to 25’ with plenty of reef life and a helicopter wreck.

 

Suit up and head out on Dive Machine to enjoy a shallow single dive in calm waters. Bring your gear or we supply everything you will need.

Scuba: Refresher Dive

 

Our Scuba Refresher Dive is the perfect opportunity for newly certified divers or those who haven’t dived in a while to refresh their skills and gain confidence in a safe and relaxed environment. The dive takes place in the calm and shallow waters at 2pm, which provides an ideal setting for divers to “iron out the kinks” and practice their skills.

 

Certified divers of all levels are welcome to join this refresher dive, which is guided by our experienced instructors. The dive is also suitable for families with snorkelers, as everyone can enjoy an adventure together in the beautiful underwater world.

 

During the refresher dive, our instructors will review important skills and techniques to ensure that you are comfortable and confident underwater. This will include buoyancy control, mask clearing, regulator recovery, and emergency procedures. By the end of the dive, you will feel refreshed, confident, and ready to explore more of the underwater world.

Sand Dollar Half Day Snorkel

Dive into the crystal-clear waters of St. Maarten and explore the vibrant underwater world on our half-day snorkel trip. Our knowledgeable captain will provide you with all the necessary equipment and a snorkel lesson if this is a new experience. Our half-day snorkel trip is the perfect way to experience the natural beauty of St. Maarten and create unforgettable memories. Whether you’re an experienced snorkeler or a first-timer, our trip caters to all levels and promises an unforgettable adventure.

 

This trip departs from the Simpson Bay Resort. In season (Nov – April) we duck through the Simpson Bay Bridge into the Simpson Bay Lagoon to look at the Mega Yachts at the marinas. We go out of the French Side bridge and as we cruise along the coast, our experienced crew will take you to one of the most beautiful snorkeling spots on the island, where you’ll discover a diverse range of marine life. Explore the reefs and encounter tropical fish, sea turtles and octopus as you snorkel in the warm waters.
