This scenic coastal hike takes you along the rugged undeveloped coastline between Guana Bay and Pointe Blanche. We walk along the coastal single track trails where, more than likely, we will see more goats than people. Following the coastline your guide points out iguanas, birds, cactus, neighboring islands and natural rock formations shaped like ancient Arawakan faces.
The turn-around point is Geneve Bay where we will take a couple of minutes to sit down and relax while listening to the music of the pebbles in the surf. The way back follows the same trails to Guana Bay Beach where you can take off your shoes and cool your feet in the crystal clear Caribbean Sea while walking along this pristine beach – a cold refreshment is waiting for you at the end.
Hikers should be fit and able to handle steep terrain. Children as young as 9 years old are welcome but must be agile and strong. This is an intermediate hike that includes short, steep climbs and descents along narrow paths.
Tri-Sport has two locations; one in the Simpson Bay area and one in Marigot.
