Siren was built in 2008 by German shipbuilder Nobiskrug in Rendsburg, known as one of the best mega yacht builders in the world since 1905 and currently part of the Tennor Group.

The owner of this mega yacht is real estate developer David Reuben of Reuben Brothers and his wife Debra Reuben, who designed the boat. Siren allegedly came out so well for the owners that Debra moved on to design the yachts Sapphire, Graffiti and Mogambo.
