When coming from Oyster Bay, take Oyster Pond road starting in the border corner of the bay. Continue this road for ten to fifteen minutes until you reach a roundabout with the Freedom Fighter statue. Enter Pondfill or WJ Nisbeth road to the right. Continue through the traffic lights until you reach another roundabout of a mother and child. Go left on this roundabout.
Remain on this road for a minute and go right on the next roundabout. Keep straight, pass by Harold Jack Viewpoint on your left until you reach the Osborne Kruythof Roundabout. Turn left and keep following this (Welfare) road through the Simpson Bay area. Cross the Simpson Bay Bridge and continue until you reach another roundabout, and you see the Causeway Bridge on your right. Now take a left on the roundabout until you witness the next roundabout with a series of brown pelican statues on it.
Go straight here and follow the airport runway past the Princess Juliana International Airport entrance hall until you reach the Maho Beach roundabout, then turn right. Royal Islander La Plage is now on your left hand.
If you are arriving from Cupecoy, navigate Rhine Road through the Golf Course and Maho Village until you almost reach the Maho Beach roundabout next to the airport runway. Royal Islander La Plage is on your right hand.
Starting from Orient Bay, head in the direction of Grand Case and pass by the airport.
Pass by Grand Case over this road into Marigot and continue to the Bellevue / Cole Bay border crossing at Concordia Monument. At the next roundabout, turn right onto the causeway bridge.
Go straight on the next roundabout and follow the airport runway past the Princess Juliana International Airport entrance hall until you reach the Maho Beach roundabout, then turn right. Royal Islander La Plage is now on your left hand.
Paid private (underground) parking is possible on site (reservation is not needed) and costs US $10 per day.
The bus line from Philipsburg to Maho / Cupecoy stop right in front of Royal Islander. In daytime, buses leave every few minutes in each direction.
